Sustainable Me has developed a range of workplace emotional wellbeing awareness programs for organisations who aim to offer their employees a work environment that embodies a culture of safety, acceptance and inclusion. Our range of mix and match programs will ensure an individualised, tailored plan that will suit your organisation’s unique requirements.

Programs focus on three pivotal areas:

Increase your organisations knowledge and awareness about mental health, well-being and self-care – our programs in this domain include:

Mental Health First Aid training

This 2-day | 12-hour face to face course has been developed for workplaces and members of the public.

The course teaches you to give help to people with mental health problems before a crisis develops.

The problems covered are:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Psychosis
  • Substance misuse

You will learn the signs and symptoms of these mental health problems and where and how to get effective help.

The course also covers how to help people in any of the following crisis situations:

  • Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
  • Non-suicidal self-injury
  • Panic attacks
  • Traumatic events
  • Severe psychotic states
  • Severe effects from substance misuse
  • Aggressive behaviours

This evidence-based course is developed in Australia and on completion participants are accredited for 3-years as Mental Health First Aiders.

  • Overview of mental health conditions, early warning signs and treatment options and self care either face to face or on-line:
    • ½ day interactive face to face workshop or
    • 3 x 45 minute on-line info and discussion ‘zoominaires’

 

2.

Develop your organisations occupational mental health and safety strategies and processes with face to face or on-line consultation sessions.

Our objectives in this domain include: Introducing evidence based strategies and interventions to be better equipped to manage the ever changing environment.

Our programs in this domain include:

  • ½ day face to face interactive workshop or 3x 45 minute consultations with your leadership team covering:
    • SWAT analysis of current practice | above the line / below the line team behaviours
    • Development of values and standards statement
    • Workshop to identify clear strategies and achievable systems and processes for further development

3.

Strengthening teams and individuals.

The objectives of this domain are to support and empower individuals to be self-aware, adaptable, productive, autonomous and valued team members able to give and receive wellbeing support.

Our programs in this domain include:

  • ½ day face to face interactive workshop or 3x 45 minute consultations with your team/s covering:
      • Support and empowerment of individuals within the team
      • Emotional intelligence, self-awareness and self care
      • How to value others and be a valued team member - Skills and tools to manage wellbeing
